2017-18 Season Announcement
Music of Remembrance's 2017-18 season will feature four new music commissions on Japanese and Japanese-American war experience by composers Ryuichi Sakamoto, Keiko Fujiie and Christophe Chagnard.

The Holocaust touched people of countless faces, places and identities. At our spring concert we present MOR’s next large music commission: a daring new work about the experience of Europe's Roma people during the Holocaust.
"The Boys of Terezín" Documentary Film
Five Holocaust survivors, a boychoir, and a chamber music group unite to tell the story of the secret concentration camp journal created under the nose of their Nazi captors.
MOR returns to San Francisco on May 24, 2017
The varied program brings MOR's next large commission: a new work about the experience of Europe’s Roma people during the Holocaust. The concert also features San Francisco Opera favorite Catherine Cook in a performance of songs from the Vilna Ghetto.
