Tokuji Miyasaka
ViolinistWinner of the 2022 National MTNA Junior Strings Competition, Tokuji Miyasaka made his solo orchestral debut at age 11 with the Spokane Symphony and has since been featured as soloist with the Washington-Idaho Symphony, Fairbanks Symphony, Cascade Symphony, and Philharmonia Northwest. Tokuji has additionally been invited to play with the Seattle Symphony in April 2023. He is a First Prize laureate in the 2021 Kocian International Violin Competition and won the prestigious Festival Medal in the 2022 Seattle Young Artists Music Festival. Tokuji is a joint recipient of the 2021 Music of Remembrance Young Artist/David Tonkonogui Award and a seven-time gold medal winner at Musicfest Northwest Spokane. He studies with Simon James in the Coleman Violin Studio.
