Robert Orth

Robert Orth, baritone, captivated MOR audiences in 2015 as Picasso in Tom Cipullo’s After Life. Orth has performed 135 roles in opera and musicals in scores of cities. He has been named “Artist of the Year” by both New York City Opera and Seattle Opera, and received the Christopher Keene Award for new and unusual repertoire by the New York City Opera. Orth has appeared as soloist with major symphony orchestras in repertoire ranging from Brahms' Requiem to Broadway pops to his most repeated symphonic work, Carmina Burana. Heggie has created roles for him in Dead Man Walking and Moby Dick.
