Social Media & Digital Advertising Specialist
Part-Time, Remote
Music of Remembrance is looking for a creative, detail-oriented social media and marketing professional who is comfortable creating and managing engaging social content while running a paid ad account — someone who can turn a $2,000/month ad budget into measurable results (ticket sales, streaming, donations) while keeping our storytelling authentic and mission-driven. This is a part-time role (approximately 15-20 hours/week at $35-$40/hour), which is ideal for someone who wants meaningful, flexible work with a well-respected performing arts nonprofit.
This is more than a social media position. You'll help bring extraordinary stories of resilience, justice, and human dignity to life through compelling content, short-form video, and digital advertising that inspires audiences to attend performances, stream new works, and support our mission.
About Music of Remembrance:
Music of Remembrance is a performing arts organization focused on human rights and social justice. At its founding in 1998, MOR sought to rescue Holocaust-era composers’ music from underserved obscurity. We have evolved to honor the resilience of all people excluded or persecuted for their faith, ethnicity, gender or sexuality. MOR is admired around the world for its leadership in commissioning and premiering new works by leading composers and choreographers. Our recent commissions have included works addressing the women’s rights struggle in Iran, the separation of families at the US-Mexico border, the worldwide refugee crisis, and Japanese internment.
