About Us:
Music of Remembrance is a performing arts organization focused on human rights and social justice. At its founding more than 25 years ago, MOR sought to rescue Holocaust-era composers’ music from underserved obscurity. But we have evolved to honor the resilience of all people excluded or persecuted for their faith, ethnicity, gender or sexuality. MOR is admired around the world for its leadership in commissioning and premiering new works by leading composers. Our recent commissions have included works addressing the women’s rights struggle in Iran, the separation of families at the US-Mexico border, the worldwide refugee crisis, and the threat of nuclear war.

Key Responsibilities:
Craft Compelling Content: Develop and design engaging social media posts, graphics, and videos that capture the essence of our mission and resonate with diverse audiences.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with our team to create and execute a dynamic content strategy that drives engagement and amplifies our message.
Audience Engagement: Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries to build a vibrant online community.
Analytics & Insights: Track and analyze the performance of content, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns that support our artistic programs and fundraising efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in social media content creation, and proven success significantly expanding engagement, preferably for a non-profit performing arts organization.
Creativity: Exceptional ability to create visually appealing and compelling content for a diverse audience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), and familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner.
