Eliana Cobbs is a senior at Central Washington University, where she is a violin student of Professor Carrie Rehkopf. At CWU she serves as Symphony Concertmaster and is a member of several quartets. She also is a violinist with the Wenatchee and Yakima Symphonies.

Eliana was the 2025 first-place winner of the prestigious Music Teachers National Association competition. She has performed with community orchestras and festivals including the Everett Philharmonic, Central Washington University Orchestra, Redmond Chamber Orchestra, Listeso Music Group, Jupiter Music Festival, Tacoma Youth Symphony, Second City Chamber Series-YCP and the Evergreen Music Festival. As part of her artistic development, Eliana has performed in masterclasses for Noah Geller, Blake Pouliot and Midori.

Eliana’s personal and musical ideals, and her championing of works that speak out to the world, make her an exemplary recipient of the senior David Tonkonogui Memorial Award for Young Artists. She makes her MOR debut at our 2027 Art From Ashes concert performing Robert Dauber’s Serenata, composed in the Terezín concentration camp.
