Curt Branom

Actor Curt Branom has been acclaimed for his comic and dramatic work in plays, musicals and cabarets in San Francisco and New York. For more than twenty years, he was a principal cast member in San Francisco’s iconic Beach Blanket Babylon, where his characters included Kurt (from Glee!), Susan Boyle, John McCain, Buster Posey, Michelle Bachman, Bernie Sanders, Valdimir Putin, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and his personal favorite: the dazzling and flamboyant King Louis XIV. Along with Nicolle Foland and Kristin Clayton, he is a founding member of Pacific Singers and Actors Workshop, where he is the Acting Instructor. In concerts to benefit arts, education and health causes, he has sung numerous times with legendary opera star Frederica von Stade, as well as with the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus. Branom also teaches and coaches acting for opera singers at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, SongFest at the Colburn School in Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Opera’s Ambassadors Leadership Program.
